Homeschool

Hello!  I’m Sandra Foyt.  It’s a pleasure to meet you.  Let me tell you a little bit about us on our Homeschool Mixer Introduction.

Our Homeschooling Venture has been an amazing success!  My son and I have both learned so much together.  Alex is becoming a confident, engaged life-long learner.  I’m finally fulfilling my dream of writing professionally.  And, we’re having a blast as a blogging family.

In addition to this blog, we also write on the following sites:

Alex and Leperdy’s Learning Adventures

Elferkid

Book Babes’ Club

Since we homeschool in New York, we have to fulfill the following requirements:

The first step: Letter of Intent to Homeschool in New York

The second step: Individualized Home Instruction Plan - Grade 2

First Quarter: Homeschool Quarterly Report

Second Quarter: Homeschool Quarterly Report 2nd Grade

Third Quarter: Homeschool Quarterly Report: 2nd Grade, 3rd Quarter

Alex is in 2nd Grade, so we’re not required to do any testing until next year.  However, we do have to complete the Fourth Quarterly Report and an end-of-year Assessment.  Oh joy, those are due June 30th.
