I’ve never mastered the art of traveling light or of early departures.
Given no specific deadline, and possessing a large capacity vehicle, well, it’s almost guaranteed that I will fill it to the brim and depart long after the sun has risen.
Here we are, about to hit the road from New York to Florida at the remarkably early hour of 1pm, with a Suburban full of kids, Grandma, and (mostly) hand-me-downs for the cousins. And yes, a little luggage and a lot of books.
Just 20 hours and 29 minutes of driving to go….
