Aw, that's sweet. You might like this one I did on body image too, then. (for a talk at Kaiser Permanente and the Preteen Alliance/Lucile Packard Children's Health Foundation)

I experimented by tossing 'words' into the Animoto to frame the story...This one's a bit shorter...Now I've got the kids using it in our own sessions with digital cams! Great tool...just love it!

As an animal lover, your zoo piece really appeals...I've made peace with some of the zoo environs by virtue of the fact that some of the well done exhibits are literally breeding grounds for endangered species that would vanish otherwise...I always remind myself of this when I get in that Dr. Seuss moment of 'free all the animals' etc.---

Though I must say, for every positive step forward in the preservation of animal kingdoms there's some outrageous event that reminds us when animals have 'had enough' of taunting by humans (like our own S.F. Zoo tiger incident w/the teen boys) sigh. So sad all around.

On an upbeat note, I see you've put Animoto on your Friday finds list...I've been using it since beta days and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it...for ALL of my presentations, and have even incorporated it into our hands-on media literacy sessions with youth. Here's a sample of an 'intro to Shaping Youth' I used for the CCFC conference, showing how we CAN use the power of media for positive change!!!
