If you’re like me, you will be astounded at what you can do when you switch to Flock – “The Browser For The Modern Web.” It’s like Firefox on steroids.
I must confess that, until now, I didn’t really know that first hand. I’d only used Internet Explorer, and I never even figured out how to use those Tab things. My browser worked well enough, and I ignored the fact that I was using a race horse to pull a buggy. I just didn’t have the time to figure it all out.
No worries. In this video series, Aussie Ed Dale shows you how to download the Flock Browser, and then set your blog options so that your browser runs like a Rolls Royce. You’ll soon be cruisin’ the Internet Highway. And, you’ll even discover how to make good use of the Tabs.
Now, with Flock, I’m zipping along, maximizing my productivity, and building relationships online. This browser integrates everything you do on the Internet to help you manage your blog, social media, photo and media accounts, news readers, everything!
Once you’ve downloaded and optimized Flock, Ed Dale shows you how to install extensions and then introduces several applications that will further enhance your browsing experience:
Piciens – Get stunning image and video viewing options. Full Screen, 3D.
Google Global – Did you know that when you do a Google search, the results are targeted to your location? So, if you do a restaurant search, you will see dining options in your home town. Now, if you’re trying to plan a trip, it’s much easier to use Google Global to filter your search for location.
Google Notebook – Get a ready-to-use notebook on your bottom toolbar.
SEO Tools – This is for marketing stuff that I don’t really understand. Yet.
Search Status – Want to know if you’re looking at a popular website, look at its rank right on your tool bar.
StumbleUpon – Sets up Stumble Upon on your tool bar.
TwitterBar – Sets up a TINY (almost invisible) link in your address bar that allows you to post to Twitter directly from your address bar.
