Why Twitter?

The Tao of Twitter Video

Dave came home the other day with a shiny new Apple iphone 3G, you know the kind that has enough power to take over the world? It came fully loaded, but he immediately started checking out the App Store to see what other toys he could add.

Guess what was at the very top of the Top Apps list? Of course, it was Twitterrific, an application that allows you to read and post to Twitter.

“So, Sandra, what’s this new Twitter thing,” he asked.

I tried to describe the revolutionary online tool that is transforming the Internet, but I just can’t explain it the way Ed Dale, Internet Marketing Genius, does in this video.

So, Dave, watch this video, and join me on Twitter. You’re all welcome to follow my tweets, just look for my username, SandraFoyt.

Being the Change I Wish to See - Sherri July 29, 2008 at 10:15 am

I took the challenge last year, but don’t think I’ll have the time this year. I’ve watched some preseason and love Ed Dale, as always, but I’ve moved beyond TDC into Blog Mastermind and plan to stay that course.

I’m a writer at heart, not an internet marketer. I do have a few niche sites I developed last year that make me some steady income. It’s not high income yet, but it’s paying my blogging expenses plus a bit.

If you love Twitter, you also need to check out Squidoo and Hubpages. I promote all my blogs on Squidoo and am beginning the same campaign on Hubpages. You make free webpages on a single part of one topic and link your blog in via RSS feed, link lists, and have links to your newsletter or sign-up form. And you can tweet all your Squidoo updates with the click of a button each time you publish an update.

Best of luck on your TDC,
Sherri

Thank you, I appreciate your suggestions, and will definitely look at Squidoo and Hubpages.

I also think the Blog Mastermind program is excellent, but since I’m a relative newbie online, I’m getting a lot of value following Ed Dale’s video tutorials.

Also, the 30 Day Challenge is a great way to teach the kids how to use Internet tools, while they learn important promotion skills.

The Blog Mastermind program is too pricey, and time consuming, for most kids.

Thanks again, Sandra
