Your chain smoking grandmother stopped smoking many years ago... she is very independant,clear thinking....lives in the world she creates daily with her own thoughts. Your other grandmother,my mother,did not raised you, she did take care of you at different time periods but mostly my help came from hired babysitters. The question was why? To persue enterprises as you percieved or were there other resons. Your mother grew up in Argentina, a society based back then in double standards - one set of rules for men and another for woman. Woman accepted disloyalty,dishonesty,child abused and betrayal for financial security. This i grew up with and rebeled. That is why I left my country and married an american. I married at age 19 for love- not for a calculated income and yes we lived threw many financial difficulties which made me work too much and not have much time to be home. But it was not just the dignity in womanhood that i was persuing...I was persuing with all my heart the understandment of truth. Beyond nationalities....beyond personal believes...beyond education....I was seeking the essence of man and his reason for existance. The time came when there was no need to ask any more questions.
